It was a routine takeoff for the Airbus A310 flying from Bucharest Otopeni to Brussels when suddenly the aircraft steered violently to the left crashing and killing all on board instantly. But what exactly would have gone wrong? Find out below IN chronological order--

09:06- Tarom flight takes off from Bucharest Otopeni bound for Brussels Zaventhem. The pilot in control was first officer Stoi. The A310, at that point of time had a common issue of thrust levers retracting on them own , to counter this issue all airlines advised their pilots to guard the throttles. Therefore Captain Batanoui guarded the throttles.

09:07- As the plane climbs towards the cruising altitude, First officer Stoi asks the captain to retract the flaps and slats (will make a post about them soon). The captain , retracts flaps but not the slats. The first Officer became confused and asked Captain if he was fine but all he managed to say was "I feel sick", it is presumed that the Captain lost consciousness after this and died,

09:07:15- The first officer panics and desperately tries to resurrect Captain Stoi but to no results.

09:08- Suddenly due to the asymmetry in engines the plane rolled sharply to the left which the first officer did not notice \

09:08:30- Even after noticing the sharp roll the first officer was rendered helpless, approximately 4 seconds later the flight crashed at the speed of 374 knots. No survivors were found. This is was the deadliest accident in Tarom airline's as well as Romania's history.
