Air India Regional is a subsidiary of Air India operating under the UDAAN scheme which focuses on connecting regional routes in India, Especially for the airports that cannot handle even medium haul aircrafts.

The departure was a complete chaos as the previous flight from Nashik to Ahmedabad landed at 10:40 which was the boarding time for our flight! This lead in a minor delay of 15-20 minutes. The boarding didn’t take long.

Post takeoff the route was very wobbly it would have been way scarier for first time fliers. The turns were very sharp.

While cruising at 15,000 feet (FL150) sandwiches were served and drink services were available too. The legroom was fine considering it was an ATR aircraft.

Pre landing at Nashik was rough as the pilots were again executing hard and sharp turns. Post landing we bus boarded to the terminal at Nashik which hardly handled 4 flights. The same flight would be continuing for Hyderabad which would take another hour.

The aircraft that took me to Nashik operated by Alliance Air.
